Commander of the General Command, Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, stressed that “Libya will remain one unit, regardless of the challenges and difficulties,” calling on all Libyans to unify their words, organize their ranks, and reject their differences.
Haftar said during his speech at the opening ceremony of the Benghazi International Stadium on Thursday evening, “We call from the Benghazi Stadium for unity of ranks, the rejection of division, and the reunification of the country. Anyone who seeks the opposite has no place among us. Libya was and will remain one, from its east to its west, and from its south to its north.”
Haftar praised the efforts of the Libya Development and Reconstruction Fund in completing the Benghazi International Stadium to host sports events, stressing that “youth are the pillar of society and its driving force towards development and renaissance. They possess the necessary capabilities and play an essential role in supporting their society.”
