Advisor Aqila Saleh, Speaker of the House of Representatives, sent an official letter to Khaled Shakshak, confirming his assignment to continue serving as the head of the Audit Bureau until the unification of the country’s sovereign institutions.
Saleh stressed that the House of Representatives is the only body legally authorized to select, assign, and terminate the services of the heads of regulatory agencies—no other entity has this power.
He also urged Shakshak to continue performing his duties in a manner that ensures the smooth management of the bureau, in order to safeguard public funds and state properties, as well as to serve the citizens.
