In Benghazi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan Armed Forces, General Saddam Haftar, welcomed a delegation of elders and notables from the Al-Suleiman tribe.
During the meeting, Haftar conveyed the greetings of Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, who expressed his pride in the tribe’s patriotic stances and its honorable history in serving the nation.
General Haftar praised the sacrifices and heroic contributions of the Al-Suleiman tribe in securing southern Libya and supporting the Armed Forces’ efforts to establish security and stability across the country.
He further commended the tribe’s continued support in the fight against terrorism, crime, and chaos, stressing their role as a cornerstone of Libyan social cohesion and a key pillar in safeguarding national stability.
