Lieutenant General Saddam Haftar, Chief of Staff of the Libyan Ground Forces, received a delegation of sheikhs, elders, and municipal mayors from the Murzuq Basin at the General Command headquarters in Benghazi, with the presence of Major General Mabrouk Sahban, Commander of the Sabha Military Region.
During the meeting, General Haftar welcomed the delegation, listened to their concerns and demands, and emphasized the importance of direct engagement with all social components, in line with the directives of Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar.
He reaffirmed that Libyan tribes have always been the cornerstone of preserving national unity and social cohesion.
