A new batch of the Commando and Paratrooper Battalion, affiliated with the Tariq Bin Ziyad Brigade under the Ground Forces General Staff, graduated in a ceremony attended by Lt. Gen. Saddam Haftar, Chief of Staff of the Ground Forces.
The training courses included:
• HALO (High Altitude Low Opening) Parachute Jumping with oxygen at 30,000 feet—the first of its kind in Africa.
• Closed-Circuit Diving at a depth of 40 meters.
• Paramotor Gliding training.
During the ceremony, Lt. Gen. Saddam Haftar praised the graduates for their outstanding performance and emphasized the importance of such specialized training in strengthening the capabilities of special forces and supporting ground force operations.
