Libyan Prime Minister Dr. Osama Hammad chaired a high-level security meeting in Benghazi to follow up on the circulating video footage of MP Ibrahim Darsi, which has sparked widespread concern over his fate.
During the meeting, Hammad stressed the urgency of taking swift action to uncover the circumstances surrounding the incident. He called for a broad investigation under the supervision of the Attorney General to verify the authenticity of the videos and identify those responsible, emphasizing that the incident aims to destabilize security and sow discord.
Hammad also confirmed that committees affiliated with the General Command are continuing their investigation into the disappearance of the MP, noting that urgent directives have been issued to the Ministry of Interior to take all necessary measures to uncover the truth and bring those involved to justice.
