Lt. Gen. Saddam Haftar, Chief of Staff of the Libyan Land Forces, met with the Turkish Consul to Libya, Sarkan Karamanlioglu, at the General Command headquarters in Rajma, accompanied by Gen. Khairy Al-Tamimi, Secretary-General of the General Command.
During the meeting, both sides discussed topics of mutual interest, most notably the potential reopening of the Turkish consulate in Benghazi to resume providing services to Libyan citizens — a step viewed as a sign of improving bilateral ties and practical cooperation.
