Lieutenant General Saddam Haftar, Chief of Staff of the Ground Forces, took an active part in the celebrations marking the 85th anniversary of the Libyan Army, held in the presence of Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar and senior military leaders.
The event honored the army’s historic sacrifices in defending Libya’s sovereignty and combating terrorism.
During the ceremony, the Commander-in-Chief announced the launch of Vision 2030 to modernize the armed forces, aiming to build a well-equipped and highly trained army capable of addressing regional and international challenges.
Saddam Haftar’s presence underscored his commitment to strengthening the Ground Forces as a core pillar in achieving this strategic vision.
