Lieutenant General Saddam Haftar, Chief of Staff of the Libyan Land Forces, signed a military cooperation protocol with Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, General Asim Munir, during an official visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Haftar represented the Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan Armed Forces, Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar.

The meeting between the two sides focused on prospects for joint cooperation in military training, capacity building, and mutual defense, as well as the exchange of technical expertise to address modern security challenges.

Both parties emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral relations to serve mutual interests and support regional stability and counter-terrorism efforts.
