Libya’s Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lt. Gen. Saddam Khalifa Haftar, arrived in the French capital, Paris, where he was received at the Élysée Palace by Paul Soler, the French President’s special envoy.
The meeting focused on the latest developments in the Libyan political process, initiatives aimed at reaching a political agreement, and discussions on the roadmap of the United Nations mission, as part of ongoing international efforts to support stability and a comprehensive political settlement in Libya.
