CNN reported that flight tracking records showed a U.S. Air Force C-17 transport aircraft filed a flight plan from Kelly Field in San Antonio to Misrata Airport in Libya on Wednesday.
The network noted that the U.S. has repeatedly used C-17 planes in recent months to transport migrants.
