Several Libyan cities witnessed simultaneous protests marked by road closures and tire burning, reflecting growing public frustration over deteriorating living and service conditions.
In Tripoli – Zawiyat Al-Dahmani, demonstrators blocked the road in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and closed the Fashloum intersection in an unprecedented escalation.
In Misrata, protesters chanted against Minister of State for Communication Walid Al-Lafi, accusing him of ignoring citizens’ suffering and turning official platforms into media showcases, while streets were closed and tires burned.
Meanwhile, in Souq Al-Jumaa, calls were raised to overthrow the Government of National Unity, with demonstrators stressing that continued political division and declining services are no longer acceptable.
The protests signal a widening wave of public anger and clear demands for change and accountability amid Libya’s ongoing crisis.
