General Saddam Haftar, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan Armed Forces, met with the elders and dignitaries of the Al-Qadhadhfa tribe during his visit to Sabha. The tribe’s leaders expressed deep appreciation for the continued efforts of the General Command and reaffirmed their full support for national reconciliation initiatives and development projects in the southern region.
General Haftar highlighted the historic role of the Al-Qadhadhfa tribe in supporting the nation and preserving Libyan unity.
He emphasized that the southern region remains a top priority in the Armed Forces’ development plans, noting that the upcoming phase will include urgent projects to improve infrastructure, essential services, create job opportunities for youth, and boost economic and commercial activity across southern cities and towns.
