As part of the “Journey of Loyalty,” General Saddam Haftar, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan Armed Forces, met with the elders and dignitaries of the Awlad Bousif tribe during his visit to Sabha.
The tribe’s leaders warmly welcomed him, reaffirming their continued support for the Armed Forces and praising its efforts in strengthening security, stability, and supporting development and reconstruction in the southern region.
General Haftar commended the tribe’s significant role in promoting national reconciliation and confirmed that the General Command is committed to addressing unresolved service-related issues in the south, while creating an environment that enables youth to actively contribute to development and nation-building.
