As part of his ongoing meetings during the “Journey of Loyalty” in Sabha, General Saddam Haftar, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan Armed Forces, met with the elders and dignitaries of the Warfalla tribes. The tribe’s leaders expressed their appreciation for the Armed Forces and reaffirmed their continued support for its efforts to protect the homeland and strengthen security and stability in the south.
General Haftar praised the patriotic role of the Warfalla tribes and their commitment to Libya’s unity and stability. He emphasized that the coming phase will mark the actual start of development projects in the south, including infrastructure upgrades, improvement of essential services, enhancement of education and healthcare sectors, and creating real opportunities for youth to contribute to nation-building.
