Lieutenant General Saddam Haftar, Chief of Staff of the Libyan Ground Forces, extended his heartfelt condolences on the passing of prominent Islamic scholar Sheikh Rabi’ bin Hadi al-Madkhali.
He praised the late scholar’s lifelong dedication to promoting authentic Islamic teachings, combating extremism and deviance, and upholding the principles of moderation and the understanding of the Prophet’s companions.
General Haftar also expressed his sympathy to the scholar’s family, the Saudi people, and the wider Islamic nation, praying that God grant him mercy and eternal peace.
