In Benghazi, Deputy Commander of the Libyan Armed Forces, General Staff First Class Saddam Haftar, met with the elders and dignitaries of Egypt’s Awlad Ali tribe, along with a number of Libyan tribal leaders, in the presence of senior military and security officials.
He conveyed the greetings of Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, emphasizing the deep historical and social ties between Libya and Egypt.
Saddam Haftar praised the Awlad Ali tribe as a strong bridge between the two nations, lauded the role of tribal leaders in preserving unity and stability, and extended condolences to the tribe for the passing of one of its members.
