The General Commander of the Libyan Armed Forces, Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, accompanied by the Commander of the Ground Forces, Major General Saddam Haftar, conducted a field visit to Al-Watan Club for Shooting and Equestrian Sports in Benghazi to inspect the newly constructed track, which was established under direct orders from the Field Marshal.
The visit reflects the leadership’s strategic vision in supporting cultural and athletic activities—especially equestrian sports—as part of a broader national project that upholds discipline, courage, and the preservation of Libya’s heritage.
Field Marshal Haftar emphasized the importance of such activities in fostering national values among future generations. Major General Saddam Haftar demonstrated hands-on oversight, showcasing his dual role in military leadership and community development.
The visit comes as preparations are underway for the upcoming “Knights of Dignity” championship, expected to gather participants from across Libya, reinforcing national unity and pride under the banner of dignity.
