In an interview with Egypt’s Al-Ahram newspaper, Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan Armed Forces, highlighted the key milestones and significance of the Dignity Operation. He stressed that the campaign not only secured stability inside Libya but also contributed to the regional and global fight against terrorism.
Haftar emphasized that Libya’s foreign relations have been built on mutual respect and shared interests, thanks to clear political stances and vision. He added that the military and developmental achievements on the ground played a crucial role in gaining international respect and countering misleading media narratives about the role of the army and its leadership.
