In a solemn display of honor and military discipline, a formal handover ceremony took place at Gate 60, south of Ajdabiya, between the 152nd Infantry Battalion and the Military Police and Prisons Directorate. The event was held under the directives of the General Commander of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces, Field Marshal Khalifa Abu Al-Qasim Haftar, and was supervised by the Chief of Staff of the Ground Forces.
The ceremony, conducted at a frontline position that once served as a formidable barrier against terrorist threats, stands as a new chapter of military dedication and sacrifice. The site holds historical significance, having witnessed the valor and sacrifices of fallen heroes, the wounded, and their steadfast comrades.
As part of the proceedings, families of the martyrs and injured soldiers were honored in recognition of their bravery and dedication to defending the nation. The event reaffirmed the armed forces’ ongoing commitment to national security and remembrance of those who paid the ultimate price.
