In a previous field tour, General Saddam Haftar, Chief of Staff of the Libyan Ground Forces, inspected the deployment sites of the Special Operations Force R.I.B 87 in southern Libya.
The visit included a review of combat and reconnaissance unit readiness, as part of efforts to tighten border control and combat smuggling, in line with directives from the General Command.
The visit sent a clear message about the military’s presence and its commitment to safeguarding national sovereignty along Libya’s southern borders.
