Lieutenant General Saddam Haftar, Chief of Staff of the Libyan Ground Forces, met with Egypt’s Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Ahmed Fathy Khalifa, during an official visit to the Egyptian Ministry of Defense.
The meeting was attended by senior Egyptian military officials, including heads of training, operations, and military intelligence.
Discussions focused on enhancing joint cooperation in counterterrorism, border security, and training exchange programs.
Saddam Haftar conveyed greetings from Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar and reaffirmed Libya’s commitment to strengthening military ties with Egypt.
