Under the supervision of the Libyan Army’s General Staff, Infantry Battalion 101 carried out a successful operation in Al-Mahdiyah, Sabha, uncovering a major hashish production and storage facility.
The operation resulted in the seizure of 290 kilograms of hashish and the arrest of those operating the factory, who were handed over to the relevant authorities.
This decisive action reflects the General Staff’s ongoing commitment to fighting organized crime and drug trafficking, and highlights the growing effectiveness of the Libyan Ground Forces in protecting national security and public safety.
The General Staff commended the unit’s efforts, reaffirming that the military remains a central force in ensuring stability and upholding the rule of law across Libya.
