In implementation of the directives of the General Commander of the Libyan Armed Forces, Field Marshal Khalifa Abu Al-Qasim Haftar, and under the direct supervision of the Chief of Staff of the Ground Forces, a designated committee has commenced field operations in the southern region.
The committee’s work includes inspection visits to the 676th Infantry Battalion and all units under the Ground Forces Command in the south. The mission involves reviewing personnel numbers, regulating armament status, updating communication systems, inventorying vehicles and ammunition, and evaluating the overall level of readiness and discipline.
This step comes as part of a broader plan aimed at reorganizing units according to the approved structure, enhancing combat efficiency, and ensuring high operational readiness.
