Mased Boulos, Senior Advisor to President Trump, announced that he met with Lieutenant General Saddam Haftar in Benghazi to follow up on Haftar’s important visit to Washington in April.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to expand cooperation and support efforts to unify the Libyan army and key state institutions. Boulos reiterated the United States’ strong support for Libya’s unity, sovereignty, and stability.
