Continuing his tour of loyalty across Libya, Deputy General Commander of the Libyan Armed Forces, General Saddam Haftar, visited the city of Sirte, where he was warmly received by the city’s elders, dignitaries, and youth.
During the meeting, Haftar conveyed the greetings of Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, who expressed pride in Sirte’s resilience and its steadfast people who endured the hardships of war and terrorism with faith and determination.
General Haftar affirmed that Sirte is now rising again as a city of security, construction, and development, regaining its place as the beating heart of Libya and a meeting point for citizens from the east, west, and south. He emphasized that Libya’s reconstruction can only be achieved by the hands of its people, through sincere will, clear vision, and dedicated work.
He concluded by stressing that the era of terrorism has ended through the sacrifices of the martyrs, and that the Armed Forces will never allow chaos or threats to Libya’s unity and stability.
