In the early hours of the morning, Lieutenant General Saddam Haftar, Chief of Staff of the Libyan Ground Forces, paid a field visit to the Lamlouda Training Center in the Green Mountain region.

The visit included attending the morning assembly of the elite training programs — including the Commando, Paratrooper, and Combat Skills Courses — where he directly observed the training routines, engaged with the trainees, and even shared breakfast with them.

During the visit, Saddam Haftar emphasized the importance of these specialized programs in preparing highly capable and mission-ready forces. He praised the efforts of the training teams and instructors, underlining the need to maintain high standards of modern military training.

He also reaffirmed the commitment of the General Command, under the leadership of Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, to support the development of the armed forces by providing all necessary resources and improving overall combat readiness to protect Libya’s sovereignty and stability.
