The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced that Minister Yaşar Güler received Lieutenant General Saddam Khalifa Haftar, Commander of the Libyan National Army’s Ground Forces, in Ankara.
The visit came at the official invitation of the Commander of the Turkish Land Forces, General Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu, and included formal meetings focused on military cooperation between the two sides, attended by a Libyan military delegation.
The announcement was made through the ministry’s official account on Platform X, accompanied by photos from the reception and bilateral talks.
