Following the directives of the Chief of Staff of the Ground Forces, General Saddam Haftar, the Abreek checkpoint in the Ubari region was officially handed over by Battalion 101 to the Ubari Security Directorate.
The transfer took place in the presence of Major General Jamal Al-Amami, head of the South Reorganization Committee, and Major General Abdulsalam Al-Sharif, the appointed security chief.
This move is part of a broader plan to support the Ministry of Interior in restoring security and stability in southern Libya, through enhanced coordination between military and police institutions.
