As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the humanitarian and social role of the military institution—and under the direct instructions of the Commander of the Libyan Ground Forces, Lieutenant General Saddam Khalifa Haftar—the Medical Unit organized a blood donation campaign involving personnel from the 87th Rapid Intervention Battalion and the 55th Special Forces Battalion.
This noble initiative aims to support hospitals and healthcare facilities across the country, reinforcing the values of solidarity and cooperation between the armed forces and civil society.
The General Command reaffirmed its commitment to continuing such meaningful campaigns, which reflect the honorable image of the Libyan soldier and the armed forces’ active role in serving the nation and supporting the health sector in times of need.
